It's a good idea keep the Touch ID step because it shows you very quickly if Touch ID is working or not. You can apply this blueprint to multiple devices at a time and it will skip all activation steps aside from Touch ID. Once you have Configurator 2 installed, open it and create a blueprint called "Touch ID only". You can download Configurator 2 from the Mac App Store. We use velcro straps to keep the cables organized. Plug in 7 OEM lightning cables into each hub that you set up, and you'll be ready to go. In AC2, select the iOS device you wish to configure. Connect the device (s) to be configured to the Mac using the USB cable. You can find them on Amazon here: Anker 3.0 7-Port Data and Charging Hub Login to the Mac computer and launch the Apple Configurator 2 (AC2) app. It's a bit confusing because the three ports at the bottom are power-only (no data, so you can't use them for restoring), but it's worth it because you get 60W of power between 7 USB ports. Do one of the following: Choose Actions > Export > Documents. I'm a big fan of Anker's 10-port USB hub because it has a 60W power supply. In Apple Configurator, select one or more devices whose documents will be exported. If you want a faster restore time and are willing to pay for it, I'd recommend buying more powerful iMacs. Browse to your Apple MDM push certificate to upload. Return to the admin center and enter your Apple ID as a reminder for when you need to renew the certificate. Enter the Apple ID used to create your Apple MDM push certificate. In our testing these two Mac Minis can restore 14 phones simultaneously in about 5-10 minutes. In Apple Configurator 2 select all the iPads you want to apply a Blueprint to Then Click on the Blueprint icon Choose the Blueprint you would like to apply to the iPads and Click on it A dialogue.
